Here’s some advice on looking after your new Cake Topper.

Please handle this product with care. When holding your cake topper, please hold by the thickest parts of the design or by the cake topper sticks. Do take care not to bend or drop the piece. Be gentle when applying pressure to insert the the topper in to your cake.

Wrap the stake with cling wrap or plastic wrap or aluminium foil before putting into cake.

When cared for properly, your products are sure to last for many years to come.

Please take care not to bend or drop the acrylic mirror – it is very fragile by design. It is your responsibility to ensure the piece is securely fastened to the surface, as if it falls, it will possibly break. Items are not to be handled by children. Do not hang items above cots or beds, or within a the reach of children.

Why is my mirror topper dull?

We leave the protective coating on to protect the surface as it travels through the post to you, so it arrives in the best possible condition.

Just a slight scratch with your fingernail, on the edge, should allow you to start peeling it off to reveal the lovely, shiny mirrored acrylic you’ve been expecting.

The mirrored acrylic is indeed fragile – so please be super careful as you remove the film – as bending or mishandling may damage your piece.
